It'd leave us with seven players for 6 positions, though probably even less than 6 positions as Havertz will probably get some time off the striker with Gyokeres around as well. It'd most likely mean Nwaneri ending up at City or Liverpool.

I think that's probably more of a comment on the composition of the squad than the numbers. We had a 20 man outfield squad last season but that included Tomiyasu and Jesus, and Sterling and Nwaneri who he didn't really trust at different points of the season. I still think he wants 20 outfield players, but 20 fit players who he trusts

It really wouldn't shock me. They have had a winning culture for two decades (I know it's been built entirely on crime and disgrace). Arsenal, post-Dein, still have to prove they actually want it.

Prioritising PL talent (which is fine for when we're sourcing starting XI players)
Over-reliance on StatsDNA

From a purely aesthetic perspective, the second point leaves me feeling empty when thinking about attackers. If I'm feeling glass half-empty, I'd say our likely attacking personnel for next season, feel like a rather joyless but relatively efficient cohort. Limited invention, limited innovation but lots of stamina to press and repeat

Is he? He averages 2 completed take ons per 90. For context Nwaneri has 3.8. He doesn't even crack the PL top 10 succesful dribbles per 90, not even Chelseas best, that's Sancho. Funnily enough Adama Traore does still make that top10.
