Letter of the law doesn’t apply to Wolves?

    Panda this is kind of what I'm getting at. When Saka gets fouled like this, it's waved off, maybe a yellow sometimes. And I always complain - I would not mind opposing players getting red cards if/when they tackle us/ Saka this way (studs). That would help protect the player.

    MLS does it one time, and it's a straight red, no room for review.

            flobaba I don't remember any of us calling for straight reds for that sort of tackle. If we actually got yellows on those we'd be delighted. There are 2 sets of rules, one for us, one for everyone else.

                On the Premier League website regarding serious foul play it states: "High + Full + Forceful contact on ankle or above is considered dangerous = Red card"

                Wasn't full or forceful. Doubt this decision holds up to any scrutiny when it comes to the "letter of the law".

                  Refs are out to get us.

                  This season has been groundhog day: every bloody weekend Liverpool are flogging the league's worst opposition and we're having an absurd red card given against us.
