Qwiss I was incensed at first, but the studs aspect is what in my opinion gives the ref an excuse.

naz Howard Webbs creative writing team will be working over time to make an excuse for that one

Panda he didn't. And that happens to Saka 25 times a game and he just needs to be tougher.

This is the first time I’ve heard the words “contact above the ankle”. Or have I been ignorant of a standard law this whole time?

That’s what he wanted. Camera on him at halftime. He can be the story again. Absolute cunt

Coombs I don't come here to rile people off. I come here to post my opinions, just like you do.

flobaba nonsense. It's a standard professional foul.

Most of the other red cards could be justified "by the letter of the law", but this is arguably the worst red card i've ever seen. Team should not play the second half. Just leave.

Claudius Gabriel took a straight kick to the knee during the week so I'm not sure this new rule has reached the continent either.

naz and on mine they are calling it serious foul play since contact was above the ankle. I am absolutely lost for words. If this explanation will be supported by referees then every intentional trip will be a red. This is probably the worst decision I have ever seen and Oliver didn't wait a second to show red, he had been waiting.

Coombs Its a joke. I haven't seen a replay but to me looked like standard trip and you right it always happens to Saka with usually not even a yellow.

Hopefully we appeal. And why is VAR as usual being pointless. So sick of this season and these decisions.

flobaba but your opinion is shit and you should change it

Claudius letter of the law mate. Letter of the law

                      Qwiss ok.

For the record, I think it's a bullshit call personally, and Oliver has to be looking to give a red, VAR not intervening was a bit of a bother though. At least let the ref see it again and decide to stick with his decision

banduan corruption. Blatant and utter corruption
