Nwaneri for Trossard please.
Arsenal - Ipswich, Friday 27 December at 20:15 UK time.
What's with the lack of subs
Such a laboured performance
A win is a win, but the main problem is still the main problem. We do not have enough consistent scorers in the team. Not one clear goal threat, 0.
That wasn't great at all.
Three points is good, but such a meh performance. We're quite lucky Ipswich has barely any quality at all in their team.
2nd. Job done.
We will need to get another forward. Need to be able to call on the bench in a hard fought match like this
Brentford, Brighton, Spurs, Villa are our next 4 in the league. We need to be much better than that in those games.
Doesn't bode well for us that Odegaard seems to be going through a Martinelli-like slump in form.
On the positive side, Rice seems to be getting back to his level again.
Our attack is terrible. No disrespect to Ipswich but we should be padding our GD today
lol. Kai is tied 11th in the league with 7 goals. Didn’t expect that.
that was seriously uninspiring. Brentford away looks like gloomy proposition the way we're playing
Martinelli is terrible. Badly need to replace him
lorddulaarsenal he’s fucked.
On the flip side, MLS is exactly what you want. Kid comes into the team and plays with so much confidence. It’s his position now.
Pretty poor in terms of this is about at easy as it gets for opposition and we made very hard work and left it 1-0 which leaves your at risk. I don't think that bodes well for the upcoming fixtures and I think if this is what we produce we will drop points sooner rather then later.
Gazza M their goalkeeper got injured tonight apparently, on top of other injuries they're currently dealing with.
On a train home feeling like we did enough to win that game more comfortably than we did, despite the incredibly passive first half performance.
Skelly is growing by the week, so that's positive. Odegaard had ten minutes in the second half where he seemed to realise there was a game to be won, bit otherwise it felt quite a diffident performance from him. When we scored, I was so surprised, I fell back in my seat as I got up to celebrate. Or maybe that's just age.
