Hehe beat off…
Hehe beat off…
I thought Tuchel spoke really well on him too. Super happy for MLS, for all the noise around him he has made remarkable strides in a very short period of time.
Claudius MlS beat off half a dozen left backs to get here.
Lewis-Skelly in the locker room trying to figure out how to break into the England team with Nwaneri and Dowman:
Scores 20 minutes into England debut. Great finish. Real Madrid beware.
Youngest player in history to score on his England debut.
This guy has got it. Such an easy guy to root for.
Been the best player in the 2nd half so far as well. Love him.
Missed it. What position did he play in?
Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert same as Arsenal. Left back who kept leaving his post to attack everywhere
His rise is astronomical.
Don't think I've ever been so excited by an England goal. Well, maybe Saka's equaliser at the last Euros.. so, so pleased for him and I was only watching because he was making his debut.
Even Keane talked very highly of him, and you know he can be quite harsh (like he was about Foden and Rashford), but he had a lot of good things to say about MLS.
est You feel enormously proud of him for absolutely no reason. Bloody brilliant.
RocktheCasbah come on Paulie you’re old enough to remember Platt against Belgium, Gazza against Scotland and Shearer vs Holland.
lorddulaarsenal maybe. But there is a difference between jumping up and down on my granddad's sofa as a 12 year old (Platt) and having your cynical, international sceptic, heart cracked open by a kid who's just done something all of us who grew up watching football in England would have dreamed of. Especially this kid who has been through quite a lot in the last six months.
This guy will be our left sided Odegaard.
Kid is going straight to the top.
This kid's as pure as a Grail knight.
