Can't get over how bad Jesus was and how stupid Martinelli can be.

Our attack is simply not good enough. We score gazillion goals in specific circumstances (which makes our "Goals For" column look great) but can often be found wanting against tactically astuste sides.

Our injury prone defenders are also a huge handicap. Need to sell some of them in the summer

Too many players hiding today. Trossard was particularly bad. Apart from that headed shot landing at Saliba Havertz was miles off it too. Jesus came on and did zero. He shouldn't even be coming off the bench any more. We need another striker because he's not fit for purpose in any way. We'd have been better off keeping Eddie than Jesus even though he's not good enough either.

Arteta needs to stop with playing so many out of position though. Timbers a great right back and a pretty dodgy left back. Partey is not a right back at all. The whole things a huge mess when he starts moving pieces around like that.

We can't rely on set pieces for ever. Arteta needs to sort out our open play, stop crossing so much, start playing some football.

Trossard and Jesus were criminal. Jesus not going for that through ball especially. He shouldn't be surprised he's not starting games, we should be more surprised we haven't replaced him.

Qwiss arteta has no nose for attacking synergy. it's abundantly clear we create fuck all if the right side isn't functioning. and yet he still fucked with timber and parteys positioning without giving a thought to how it would hurt the fluidity of the right hand side. that constipated first 60 minutes is on him

Qwiss this is really a problem he hasn't be trying to develop this aspect for most of his tenure probably because lots of the elements don't fit his preferred style but he needs to change. At the moment his approach does not look like it's going to win the titles.

Can you be pragmatic and change it does he become stubborn. I think they're are big questions against him and the club if this season fades away. If city falter and we don't take advantage that's really disastrous and as I said reminiscent if the Leicester season.

GooneriC acting like that off side was some kind of huge error is just ridiculous. If his cross wasn't so perfect no one would be talking about it now. Martinelli was alright when he came on, not great but ok. Did way more than Trossard had done. Got a lot of dangerous balls into the box. If we had a CF today one of those crosses might have come to something.###

Toothless. Garbage going forward. so many situations where a couple of early shots would have made ton of difference and our forwards are okay to keep tippy tappy around the box.

We wont win if nothing changes in January in the form of brining in attacking players. This is so soo stupid.

We are too predictable. Get the ball out wide, set the winger (Saka) up against the defender, and get the ball inside the box (high xg situation)- cross, pass, Saka shot.. only when we are desperate or really flowing (rarely) do we really change things, and also try quick combinations in central areas. Everything has to be meticulously set up.

Edit: Nwaneri and Ødegaard need to play together when we are chasing, and Jesus should never play for us again.

Kel Varnsen I don't know why Arteta doesn't play them together, I imagine they'd link up well and create better openings than that idiot Jesus would.

Is there any academy prospect that can replace Jesus in match squads?

The guy is so finished he wouldn't get into Championship teams. I don't have any personal ill will against him since an injury has effectively ended his career, but Arteta is a giant moron for not replacing him and still giving this human traffic cone minutes in critical matches.

banduan if we give Trossard a new contract we are idiots. Let him go, sign a winger in the summer and have Martinelli as back up.

Jesus should be moved out in January, even if its a loan. He just shouldn't be lining up for us any more. Nwaneri is a far bigger goal threat and is getting far less minutes. Ship Jesus out and get any striker you can in on a 6 month loan for the rest of the season.
