Hard to imagine Frankfurt selling Marmoush in January when they are in 3rd and battling for CL places with Leipzig, Dortmund, Mainz and Werder Bremen all within 2 points. Feels like we are going to do something very underwhelming like being in Rashford. Just hope it doesn’t impact our summer plans. At this point, I’d be fine holding pat if it meant we could keep the powder dry for one of Isak/Sesko/Vlahovic/Gyokeres and one of Kvara/Rodrygo/Marmoush/Nico/Barcola this summer. Anything short term that threatens our ability to bring in 2 world class attackers this summer should be avoided.

JazzG I wonder if it’s for January or for Summer. I’d love him on the left and as an option up top so if it means paying a little over market value to get him this month I wouldn’t mind that, since I feel like he’d be a target in the summer too.

I think we'll be pushing for January.

Club is being run like a joke.

I read this morning that Olmo debuted the same year as Tomiyasu, is the same age and has played 25% less minutes. While I love his talent, we can’t afford another crock in this squad even if we are desperate for attacking quality at the moment.

Interesting news on Biereth - I was a bit disappointed we let him go for so little when we sold him in the summer and it's not really a surprise that he's already being scouted by clubs in better leagues. Depending on how high the sell-on fee is, feels like a situation where we could have extracted more money, which is a shame because it was a good example of where the loans we sent him on worked out quite well.

Don Pacifico young players are hit and miss. So you need to find someone stupid to overpay, or the player has to be pretty well developed at a young age like Saliba or Nwaneri - if you want to get good money

Agree the fee for Biereth was a bit low but it was still Sturm Graz' record signing. Hopefully we engineered a good sell-on clause. His release clause is 15m euros so we should get a decent windfall.

Claudius we seemed in a desperate hurry to sell him. Don't see why another season on loan at a higher level club wasn't viable but hey ho.

Interesting we are keeping tabs on Ferguson, at the right price he would be an excellent addition to the squad.

Isak is probably our first choice but with 3.5 years on his contract Newcastle will not let him go easily.

JazzG his injury record is pretty awful. You'd want to have a pretty serious medical to sign him. The talent is there and I think someone like Arteta could make him a top player because they've destroyed his confidence at Brighton since Hurzeler came in. He'd have to stay fit but he's only 20, if he could get fit he has the potential to be a huge player. Big if.

Don Pacifico they never said the exact sell-on fee, but the so called ITK and a few journo said at the time it was 20%, so a good deal for us to be fair.

yes, Barcelona will be able to pay for him and pay him 350k a week lol.

              Linked with Kubo

Would enjoy seeing him play for us, though wouldn’t be my first choice

HomeSteak I always said that Zirkzee move was terrible for United.
Was sad to see him hauled off first half versus Newcastle. Seemed completely lost.
I don’t even know who a sane manager would retain on that team. It’s all malformed and malignant.

              It’s a mess.

I like Zirkzee as a player. Think he’s one who needs the right players around him though. Reminds me of Jovetic

lorddulaarsenal Zirkzee likes to play as a creative 9. Like Jesus. So don’t put him on a team with a 9 and ball dominant 8, and wingers who don’t score high volumes.
The other thing that has always annoyed me was getting two young 9s who both need to develop. Does them both a disservice.
United is run like a corner shop
