Qwiss Agreed, we can't faff around again. It sounds like with the likes of Zubimendi and potentially Sesko a lot of the groundwork has already been done, talk of us talking to that Spanish keeper as well recently. Isak is a pipe dream @£150m, if that figure is around Declan Rice money we might be able to make it work but not at £150m. He'd literally take up most of our budget and we wouldn't be signing a wide player + CM on top. In my eyes, which I'm guessing many will disagree with, those two positions are even more important than the CF.
I think with Nico Williams the benefit is the relatively low release clause, someone like him would probably be £65m+ whereas he is available for around £48m so from a financial and player quality view makes sense. The two problems are one his wage demands, he knows his release clause is cheap so wants more money and secondly the guy has his heart set of Barca and joining his made Yamal. For many players the likes of Barca/R.Madrid are their childhood dreams.
