I know this isn't the Music Thread, but inspired by the Americans consistent use of Peter Gabriel, I listened to a couple of his albums recently. Didn't love 3: Melt, but I thought 1986's So was a cracker. Sledgehammer is a proper banger. 😁
RocktheCasbah Both Collins' and Gabriel's solo careers are a product of the anodyne "adult contemporary" era in record publishing. As with when people tell you Dire Straits are good ... they sort of are, but they're also sort of unlistenably bland. But the video to "Sledgehammer" is brilliant, don't miss that.
With City losing it will be sickening if we don't capitalise tomorrow. In a wider context it'll be even worse if they continue to drop points and we finish behind Liverpool who have a new manager at the helm, need them to start dropping a few too, hopefully this evening will be the beginning of that.
IBL we just need to win tomorrow and start to stabilise the season. We’ve had the worst possible start in terms of circumstances conspiring against us. If we can get a few weeks of rhythm in some area of the pitch, would be great.
Our 5-0 home win under the lights at the Emirates against these lot was definitely my fave performance from last season. Hope we come out fighting. This will be tough especially if Palmer plays.

Would you consider White and Timber (on the left) as 'full strength' or would you say Timber on the right and Calafiori on the left is full strength? Not saying its right or wrong either way, i would personally say a fully fit Cala on the left and Timber on the right are the preferred starters, but this lineup is as full strength as we can get at this time. Ode being back (even if at 80%) is a big deal.
