Bad miss from Rice there I understood and mentioned when he got hurt that our title aspirations were basically done so this isn't too disappointing. We have no creativity. No ideas. No way to consistently probe and pressure defenses. Odegaard is the key to all that for us. He makes it work. Without him it's Bukayo or set pieces. Teams understand this, and mark out Bukayo And prep for set pieces. It's going to be hard until he returns and we haven't been able to keep winning.

For me that was 20/21 and parts of 22/23 Arteta ball, but I get your point. It's all too safe and lacking in ideas. Even with Odegaard, I doubt we'd have won this game going by our performances vs Newcastle over the last 3 or so years.

Well, they say you can't win the league after 10 games, but you can lose it. Unless something dramatic happens this weekend and both Pool and City lose, it seems like its a longshot for us.
