I can’t stand this Arteta safety first approach. The game was crying for a change, we were just all out defending. I just don’t understand his problem with Nwanieri - did more after two min than Trossard did all game. Thing is he’ll see the second goal was on a counter and he’ll just double down. This and the refusal to use his bench is mind boggling. Yes, Jesus and Sterling have struggled but these are your subs, Jesus was lively and both would have been fresh. But let’s wait as long as possible. Fuck right off.

And don’t even get me started with the refs, but let’s not hide behind the obvious corruption/incompetence. There are serious issues with our approach

We need concentrate on ourselves and our own deficiencies. Should have taken the game to Liverpool when 2-1 up and Mikel should have brought on subs way earlier, too passive.

Foul was called on the header. Sort of maybe a foul maybe not that no one cares about in the middle of the field (or the middle of the game). On the replay you can't hear the whistle but you can see him pointing the other way 15 seconds before the ball goes into the net.

I just watched extended highlights of the game. I know I'm being harsh, but martinellis complete lack of care with ball which lead to their equaliser infuriated me. he does that careless shit too often. our failure to sign an elite wide player will continue to cost us this season

He's too isolated. Put a proper striker in and Konate and co will have to split their attention. Nobody is ever able to make the run ahead of him while the gamestate is broken because our forward line is too deep and/or too slow.

He's only getting this negative attention because he's the only one ever in these kinds of positions on a regular basis. Saka did it once, scored, then made a run in behind exactly nunce for the rest of the game.
