I will be at a cabin in the woods, having an unhealthy amount of food and beers. So I feel like Arsenal winning, would just make me the happiest guy on earth for a split second there.
Bournemouth have been hit and miss, but are not tragic or anything. Up there fighting for 13th place with Man United.
They have won 2, drawn 2 and lost 3 times. They lost to Chelsea, Liverpool and Leicester, with 2 of them away from home. At home they also kept Newcastle in place, 2-2. So not a bad team.
We do well away, so I'm expecting more of the same. In terms of injuries, they are only missing Adams. We on the other hand have the following, listed as doubts: Havertz, Saka, Martinelli, Partey, Timber and White . Listed as injured: Odegaard, Zinchenko, Tierney and of course Tomyiasu again, he played about 10 minutes the other week, thats enough football for 2024 for him. Neto cannot play against them.
I fully expect a few of them to be ok, most of the guys that are doubts.
Raya
White - Saliba - Gabriel - Timber
Partey - Rice
Trossard
Saka - Havertz - Martinelli
Regarding Odegard, Arteta said he is out this week, but for the next game
Next week will be a different story. He needs to clear some markers. Next week will be crucial to understand how close he is."
Whatever that means.
about the rest
Arteta on injuries. Saka: "It is not a serious injury. We are hopeful." Havertz: "He had a few issues. We've been dealing with that. If he trains well today, he has got a good chance." Martinelli: "He landed yesterday afternoon. Again, today will be another step."
Arteta asked how long Tomiyasu will be out for after this setback:
"We don’t know that (how long he will be out for).
"It doesn’t look like, hopefully, a long period but we have to see when he comes back how he reacts to the load and to the impact on the pitch as well.
"But we really need him, he has been incredible, his work rate, the amount of hours he has put in to get back.
"He did it and he was in great shape - and now he has got something else again.
"But, we are all behind him. He needs our support and hopefully he will be fine."
