He wouldnt risk Timber.. 4 games in a week and a half is too much for someone that is only 6 months out from major knee injury. We dont need him for this match. Given that we're throwing a 16 year old into goal for the game, im not gonna predict that we will win, but who knows. Even Pep said he was putting no weight in this cup. Sounds like we'll be playing a very young/third string team with some first teamers scattered in.

Meatwad I'm not convinced it makes much difference at that level unless you're a starboy talent (and I've read nothing to suggest he is). So long as we minimise situations where he has to make complex decisions, he should be fine. Imagine crosses from the wings will be the main challenge given our experience at FB.

Don Pacifico waited for about 11 years now but finally we are seeing a proper arsene wenger carabao cup lineup. It's forced by injuries but let's hope they do super well today and let Arteta have faith in youth from now onwards
