The easy answer would be Martinelli and Jesus rediscovering their form. But assuming that doesn't happen miraculously in the next few games, I would love to see a few changes in how we are lining up. Personally, I am not a fan of Rice in the 8 - he doesn't seem to add much to the attack and does not do what he used to at West Ham which is drive powerfully with the ball. I understand when he plays there when we are playing conservatively but in games where we need more attacking verve, I feel like we should have him at the 6. Knowing that Arteta wants him at the 8, at least for now, I'd love to see him and Havertz swap sides so Havertz is on the left and able to combine with Martinelli more, as well as run the channel in between Martinelli and Jesus/Trossard. If we want Havertz at striker, then just put Trossard at that left 8 and have Rice next to Saka. I think it's at least worth a try to see if someone with more attacking instincts (Kai or Leo) can help open up more space for Gabi.
But I'd also like to get even more adventurous and experiment with Saka in Odegaard's position, with Sterling taking over the RW. We could do the same as above with either Havertz at the left 8 or Rice if we wanted Kai at ST. Most of all, it frees up Saka in the right half space where he's shown that he's at his most deadly cutting in from the wing. His passing and carrying ability should be up to par in the interior and we know he can also press and get back defensively. I've always held the belief that Saka may end up in the interior in a few years due to his lack of true game breaking pace and to allow him to have the most influence so I may be biased and overly optimistic but I'd love to see us try it. I also think Nwaneri will get more opportunities once the fixtures open up after City and ideally he'd add more creativity as well.
