Aside from Claude, did anyone really think he'd play any significant number of minutes even from the bench? Still reckon he'll play less than 100mins in the PL/CL this season.
Edit: Then again ESR probably would have been used just as sparingly. It is what it is.
Big Willie as the game went on it was clear he wouldn't be used. Arteta came for the draw and got it.
Big Willie I’m willing to bet you he plays more than 100 minutes. We are basically 5 rounds into the season and the main players are being ramped up. The biggest thing for a player that age is literally being on the bench often. Go back to the back end of last season and see how many times players like Nelson and Kiwior weren’t even on the bench. Be on the bench, and then take it from there.

Nothing wrong with a 0-0 away in Europe as long as you win the home games. It's concerning how devoid of any creativity we are without Odegaard though. It looks like set pieces are going to be extremely important as goals in open play are going to be hard to come by. Astonishing double save from Raya from the penalty. You see videos of the drills they do in training all the time where they dive to one side and have to get up quickly to save to the other side and this has already paid off twice this season.

I think Martinelli is done here. By next season Arteta will be eyeing an upgrade. We get nothing from him.

MistaT Thanks mate only just seen this. I managed to find one via google which worked up until the penalty was awarded then died during the VAR check. Quickly got another one to work for the penalty then that also died and found another the worked for the remainder of the game with the sound dropping in and out.

In the League/CL? Doubt it. You never know but it won't be anything significant. Certainly less than 500mins in all comps and that includes the League Cup which you'd hope/expect him to start.
Disappointing result but Raya's extraordinary work kept it to a draw, so not too demoralising.

Said it before but if we are planning on playing Havertz in midfield I'd rthater it be paired with Trossard than Jesus as they interchange up top and at least have someone focussed on end product which Jesus doesn't look like doing. He didn't have a single shot tonight did he?
