Gurgen You can get booked for kicking the ball away, it’s not necessarily for time wasting. That said, it’s the most egregious and extreme example I’ve seen of a ref applying the rules. It’s barely a nudge and happens countless times every game.
In any case, even before Rice touches it the ball is still moving so the player has no right to be playing it anyway, he’s clearly at it.
