Bloody annoying. I was pretty hyped to see him.

His injury history the past few seasons are
23/24 -13 days
22/23 - 25 days
21/22 - 21 days
20/21 - 6 days

So 24/25 will probably beat that before he's even played a single minute for us.

mdgoonah41 the key thing now is we only have 4 midfielders + Nwaneri for the mammoth stretch of games going into winter.

Havertz might need to play as LCM.

But if Jesus is injured again who plays up top? Do we have any youth strikers?

    Clrnc

Play Zinchenko in there if need be, he's better suited to it than Kai anyway.

I can't lie, I burst out laughing when I saw this news. And of course it had to be Gabriel. Welcoming him to the club I bet. You get a feeling our training sessions are going to be pretty rough from time to time. Oh well, get better asap Miki

Clrnc moving Havertz to midfield and playing Jesus up top weakens us in 2 positions. I'd rather just play Nwaneri or Trossard in midfield.

Am I missing something? Why would we move players around? Is Partey already injured?

HomeSteak Need to rotate players if there's midweek games. I don't think everyone now is going to be free of injury anyway. Looking at the fixtures the amount of games this year that we have is quite intense.

Arteta said we are very short up top and need to bring in someone, now Merino is also out we are quite short in midfield too.

Apparently our practices are proper. Our players give it to each other. This is the cost of being the boss

Claudius proper stupid. A broken midfielder, a backup defender, and a nothing keeper on loan is all we have to show for this window. It's really bad.

never been so happy for the upcoming international break. that should eat up a couple weeks of his rehab time.

well at least he learned that an arsenal practice duel hits different from those la liga duels he was winning.

Yeah hard to look at what's happend and think we've made steps forward on where we were last year as a team.
