Mik Merino

Gazza M

I was saying since January that he would score in the CL final if we made it that far. gutted he didn't get to play

Qwiss

Sicario2 We played our best football last season when Merino was the striker.

Not really true. We did for a game against Spurs but the reverse tie was just as good with him there. Same spell included a stinker against Sunderland. He's great to have as an option but he's clear 3rd choice. He does remove the need to replace Jesus though.

Sicario2

Qwiss were you sleeping when we played Bayern at home?

Qwiss

Sicario2 so 2 games. Were you asleep when we played Sunderland?

JazzG

Sicario2 I'm not going to lie but I can't specifically remember his performance in both those games but in both those games as a team we were really on it.

Qwiss

JazzG against Spurs he did well at letting Eze shine. It was good but in the reverse fixture Gyok matched Eze with a brace. Againt Bayern the team played well but it was mainly down to Saka and Timber tearing them apart on the right. Madueke came on and did well too. Basically everyone tore Laimer to pieces because he's shit. He had issues in almost every CL game I watched him in.

tazmania

He's a good squad player, let's not exaggerate his impact too much because of the world cup 🤣

Meatwad

he's doing the same thing in the world cup that he does for arsenal, so how can his impact be exaggerated because of it?

QuincyAbeyie

Meatwad that's easy. People thinking he should be higher in the pecking order for us based on being a good impact striker for a team without a striker are exaggerating.

Gurgen

Disappointed he didn’t score today. Should have done better.
