Imagine standing next to them in the tunnel. Mind already turns to the next game.

Poor Nwaneri is going to look like one of the mascots when he lines up with those lads.

lorddulaarsenal That's what I was thinking watching him, but I think it's more just visually than stylistically.

Goal kicks even. Can easily see one or two of rayas accurate long balls being pinged towards him and Havertz instead of just Havertz. And he wins at an even higher clip, so the flick on to Odegaard is on, and naturally the through pass to Martinelli or Saka who at that point is one v one with the last defender or can pull one back for an on rushing Rice to smash, or a Space invading Havertz to fumble into the net.

Look out our potential back 6. White, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori, Merino and Rice. Imagine being a loan CF of a team thats parked the bus and you are asked to win the ball and hold it up against that lot.

Qwiss like I said, teams will give up in the tunnel and look forward to their next match. Big, strong, fast, skilful players.

I was also looking at these guys prices. We just picked up Merino for £28m and he’s expected to start. So many of these guys are sub £40m, other than Declan and Havertz. The guys we are sweating have been affordably assembled. Compare with United’s shopping sprees

Clrnc been saying this guy will be a game changer. He is going to help solve a lot of our left side connectivity issues, while giving us all those defensive attributes Arteta loves. It’s an important veteran buy like Trossard - who was also under appreciated on his arrival.

You know he's going to last too. Been at the top of his game since PES 5.

Over or under against Arteta’s career here?

    150 games
    16 goals
    8 assists

over on the goals and assists.

I'd rather not predict Merino will pull up trees. What I'm expecting from him is maturity and confidence, footballing aggression and a properly cultivated, Swiss Army knife skillset which allows him to contribute in different ways. Those raking forward passes on the highlights reel will be turnovers in real matches ... it's more his energy, mobility and strength in duels that will be an asset.

Very glad he's had that stint in Newcastle already so he knows the league fairly well. This will be a great transfer if he stays rolling, doesn't mind being benched sometimes, and works out a bit better than 22–23 Xhaka for two or three seasons.

Lets go. Finally. Welcome to the Arsenal, Big Mik!

Speaks pretty good English too, thats always a bonus. (at least from that small clip). Its about time it was finalized. Now onto the next phantom target!
