Gyokeres looks like he can offer what Isak does, not familiar with his injury record but guessing he's way more accessible.

IBL I dunno...Isak has much more individual ability on the ball and much better technique to allow himself to create chances for himself (and for others) out of very little. The only thing Gyokeres really has on him is his ball striking but Isak is hardly a slouch on that front.

flobaba 100% agree that LW is our weak spot and my point is not about Isak specifically but more so a player of that ilk.

For example, I think we'd benefit more from Isak replacing Havertz then a Gordon/Diaz level player replacing Martinelli. If there's an Isak level player we can sign for LW, then that would be most definitely be the preference. But how many of those players exist? 3? And they're all at Real.

Watching the PL highlights. There's a ridiculous amount of goals scored from corners and free kicks this week.

In fact most of Chelsea chances came from corners too. And their corners routine is almost exactly the same as us

Clrnc all the good teams score lots of goals. And they score lots of goals from set pieces. Just because they are more likely to have territorial advantage. Just an outcome of possession football versus the more counterattacking styles of the Wenger era.

The top 3 teams in set piece goals are Arsenal, City and Liverpool. We are just ahead of everyone else. It’s not a Stoke type speciality anymore
