I've got major mixed feelings from tonight. We beat United and Liverpool dropped points, but the boldness of cheating from the referee in the latter's game makes me feel like giving up.

Liverpool are playing with 13 men most games, like City have been under Guardiola. We have to rely on them to collapse like last season because they're going to be propped up for as long as possible.

Hopefully Everton winning 4-0 today gives them some confidence going into Saturday. Everton getting something there would be huge for us especially as Liverpool's next away game after that is Spurs.

Chelsea have snuck right up with us as well which is quite annoying not lots of focus on them generally too so a little under the radar.

Btw, just wanna say Isak was phenomenal against Liverpool in the first half. Missed the second half of course but he was unplayable in the first half. If there is any chance at all to get him, we have to do everything we can to make it happen.

Having said that, Isak did play 40 games last season so he’s not that injury prone

Yes, it is. Going that final step requires a goalscorer, a killer. There are only a handful of those players that exist, so if you can get your hands on one you risk it. Fergie did it with RvP and won the league. RvP vanished after that first season and not a single United fan could give a fuck.

If Isak comes here for 5 years and only gives us one full season and a single league title in that time, it'll still be worth it.

Not sure what team you watch TM, but it's clear to me that the biggest improvement we can make to the squad/first team is on the left wing. That's a must have. Isak is a nice to have.

flobaba have to agree and was thinking the same thing this morning. Martinelli's lack of progression over the last three seasons is starting to concern me and I'm not sure how much time he should remain our preferred option on the left.

flobaba 100% agree that LW is our weak spot and my point is not about Isak specifically but more so a player of that ilk.

For example, I think we'd benefit more from Isak replacing Havertz then a Gordon/Diaz level player replacing Martinelli. If there's an Isak level player we can sign for LW, then that would be most definitely be the preference. But how many of those players exist? 3? And they're all at Real.
