If I was being super critical, Jesus and Zinchenko took us from 5th to 2nd, Rice and Havertz took us from 2nd to closer to 1st, but I'm not sure if Calafiore and Merino will be enough to turn us from 2nd to 1st. Still missing something to significantly weigh the odds in our favour.

This Partey-Rice-Odegaard midfield really needs to get in the fucking bin. I prefer a Rice injury to not be the impetus for that, but if our big idea is to play him as an attacking midfielder then I don't actually think he'll be that big of a miss.
