The step up he has shown in season 2 is massive. Last season was MLS' breakout and he had a defensive mindset/awareness that I thought put him ahead of Calafiori. This season Cala has not only been a lockdown defender (or close to), he has also been a consistent attacking presence. Hardly ever getting dispossessed or putting himself in a position where he needs to commit an unnecessary foul which seems to be Lewis Skelly's main attribute at the moment.
