Calafiori has a good amount of ‘wasted movement’ in his running right now. It hasn’t hurt him before because of his aggression and coordination but he will need to iron it out at the very top level. He’ll never have top fullback pace, but he should be able to move better than he does now, our strength and conditioning staff are top with that kind of stuff.
Calafiori and Timber are the reason I am hoping we have a Bayern rematch in the knockout rounds. Last season Bayern could stay organized in front of what was seemingly a tired team that tried to pass its way through. These two will give us more directness on the ball, ability to get past defenders and push them back.

Something about him, a real maverick on the pitch. Defends a bit liberally at times but has something about him.
