Mirth -- I've seen it more so as an issue that England doesn't know "how to get the ball to the final third" in a dangerous manner. Everything is so slow that by the time they reach the final third - which they do consistently - the opposition is too well established. You're then seeing Foden and Saka confused on how to build chances, and terrible decisions like Kane crossing to Walker wide.
In Kane, Bellingham, and Saka you have three fantastic players for a quicker transition from middle of the field to the final third. But they've all been instructed to slow the game down, and that doesn't particularly suit them or the other players.
In terms of a pace of play, I'm not advocating for England to play like Liverpool, but they certainly need to increase the tempo.
