Rashford has been very poor this season I think its the right decision he's not in this time there are more interesting wider squad players to look at from this season.

I know there is a tedency to overrate domestic players but various countries have much better players than England and France is one of them.

Huge break for England, Maguire misses out due to injury. Wharton selected too just based on half a season of PL.

Finally a brave and selection based on merit by Southgate. Mainoo, Eze, Gordon etc all made the cut for e.g. Would have taken Brainwhaite personally and drop Dunk who has been a huge liability.

Their chances of winning euros has increased significantly.

Actually a refreshing squad pick for England.

I think I was wrong about Southgate all along and have probably grossly underestimated him, well deserving of the United job if they sack ETH.

Actually think Maddison/Rashford should have gone, they offer something very different to the rest of the squad even if their performances in the last 6 months have been iffy. Even Sancho surely had to be considered after the season he's had at Dortmund.

JazzG maybe should have left out one striker for Sancho. One of Watkins or Toney is not going to get any minutes
