Rabiot, Kante, Griezman, Dembele. I think you cannot get hired as a national team coach if you are not an absolute idiot. No other way to explain the stuff Deschamp and Southgate pull.
HomeSteak — what’s your issue with Griezmann?
He’s been an integral part of the team for years and has the respect of his peers too.
MistaT Benching Griezmann would be insane, one of the best players in La Liga since returning to Atletico.
MistaT how about the fact that he scored 2 goals in close to 3 years for France? 1 in a friendly game and 1 in 4-0 win. They have so many better options, so many.
Saliba's looked a little uncomfortable at LCB. Not his usual calm and composed self.
Panda
I thought the same. It just looks like he doesn't have the same rapport with these teammates as he does with Arsenal... good block from him there, safely into the keepers hands.
Huge letoff for France, Saliba didnt get his head to that, and then the Austrian player was in alone.. Good save bailed him out.
OG for France... Jammy but you put the ball toward goal, and good things can happen. lol.
Useless refereeing
Saliba has been good. Kante still producing, what an engine.
Mbappe looks like he's got a broken nose, ouch.
Anyone going to go for Kante this summer? Still looks worth a punt at his age, although perhaps being in that Saudi league saved his legs.
Anyone else think is was incredibly stupid and childish for Mbappe to walk back on to the pitch without being waved on and sitting down again? Completely deserved yellow.
USArsenal No I thought it was terrible officiating from the 4th official and the ref to create the situation in the first place. Mbappe was sent back on by his manager and did what he was told. They were in the right too IMO, the situation was ridiculous.
i thought it was pretty smart. his nose was broken and the ref didn't allow his replacement to come on so he said fuck it and went back on the pitch. what's a yellow card to a forward.
Gurgen What a weird statement to make.
est What's weird about it? Obviously a joke, but I thought it quite ironic that the racist papers used Saka as the face of the friendly defeat and then Jude, Saka and Guehi kill it in the next game while the likes of Foden and Kane stink the place up.
Thought it was brow-raising as well
Gurgen and the English media spent a lot of time after the match talking about "how can we do more to help Foden play well". Who cares, you have Saka and Bellingham playing well, get someone else in there and feed Kane if you want to bring someone into the game.
Gurgen Fair enough. I missed the irony.
Qwiss It's so entrenched as well you had Micah trying to say that and Cesc of all people calling it bs. Such a weird dynamic all around. And then you got very little attention given to Rice, who essentially had to babysit Trent in midfield.
FEBravo I watched ITV last night and they had a compilation with a weird voice over and it was talking about how great Trent was. He gave the ball away 11 times and made around half the passes Rice made.
