Gazza M yeah, Trent isn't the answer in midfield. The role is completely different to being an inverted fullback stepping into the middle occasionally.

Serbia have been absolute gack, brought nothing but continual fouling. Vlahovic has been particularly bad.

England not amazing but they have so many players who can hurt teams. TAA looks totally unsuited to playing as a CM though, and Guehi and Trippier look dodgy.

Pepe LeFrits I've never watched Vlahovic in a match and been impressed. He's great in YouTube compilation beating up on bottom half Seria A sides though.

USArsenal agree. he's a pass and move player, which works fine when KDB, rodri and bernardo are in your team. let's see if he has anything else to offer

Mirth he should just play Trent at RB, you get all the great passing there and it's not like Serbia have anything to worry about on the wings.

Mirth yeah, midfield have been pretty bad as a collective. No real balance or structure beyond just keeping possession. Still yet to see Southgate able to manage a team that can coherently and consistently create.
