Qwiss you're just used to seeing Saka fouled by that poodle-haired cockboy over and over again without punishment.
Coombs I just watched Bellingham and co go down easy and get loads of frees they shouldn't.
Don’t get the Mainoo hype either. He’s tidy on the ball but isn’t elite and doesn’t have great athletic ability
lorddulaarsenal yeah, agree. He's still got a way to go. But he's 19 so it's okay.
lorddulaarsenal it's more of a reflection of how starved England are in that position. Every tournament England get dicked on by a Rodri, Jorginho, Pirlo, Schweinsteiger and no one questions why England haven't produced anyone in that mould.
Shite tournament, shite final. Spain deserved to win it, but it was so underwhelming because England should have been so much better.
AAStyle So obviously a superior creator and thinker to Foden. Southgate's lack of imagination and true authority is resounding like a bell.
Burnwinter Rice wasn't bad, wasn't great but the midfield is a complete shambles around him. It just doesn't work. Needs proper balance.
Qwiss
Mainoo isn"t good enough. Lacks vision and awareness.
Qwiss Rice wasn't bad, wasn't great but the midfield is a complete shambles around him.
Unless Wharton was completely stinking up the place in training, I don't understand why the hell Mainoo would possibly play ahead of him.
Qwiss Should've blooded Wharton in the group matches, at least to see what he could do. The lack of progressive passing is similar to what we've seen at Arsenal at times, and none of Rice, Mainoo and Bellingham has the attributes to fix it.
Well deserved. Spain was clearly the best team in the tournament, and they played the best and most positive football.
Kel Varnsen but as far as European winners go what a meh side. Sign of the state of football methinks
Phil Foden when he's not being coached by Guardiola and needs to actually think for himself:
DiabyKungFu The football version of the self-absorbed kid who tried to snipe Trump today, zero end product.
Kel Varnsen neither him nor Rice are at their best where Southgate plays them. They need a proper pivot, maybe Wharton can do it.
Kel Varnsen He's a good kid, but every pass that isn't a turnover is Denilsonesque.
Mirth it's more of a reflection of how starved England are in that position. Every tournament England get dicked on by a Rodri, Jorginho, Pirlo, Schweinsteiger and no one questions why England haven't produced anyone in that mould.
Wilshere was the closest to being that player but injuries and immaturity in his need to keep getting stuck into 60/40s against him cost him in the end.
Qwiss Definitely. Just far superior footballers. Tactics go a long way in the modern game but having that as a base always has you at a massive advantage.
Again, I just want to reiterate how bad Kane was in every game. He cost England.
When you play so defensive all game, it's practically over when the opposing team takes the lead. What a waste of talent by Southgate
Burnwinter it's mad that he turned up at this tournament not knowing his best midfield.
lorddulaarsenal
Portugal is a strong side, even though they played with just ten players.
Nwaneri needed for Wc2026
Hope this is either the end of Kane's England career or we get a manager who gives him very strict instructions.
