Qwiss I've said it all season and I still believe that Saka is a level above Foden, Palmer, etc
Everything we said about Foden when he was winning player of the season has been empirically supported by everything seen in this tournament to date. He's tactically naive, has a relatively loose touch and struggles to use his ball-striking strengths without a ton of support around him. Saka meanwhile is used to finding a way even when double-teamed, and continually provides options for the rest of the attack, even over and above what they're alert enough to work with.
Same goes for Bellingham by the way, yet to see anything resembling a coherent performance from him despite his scissor-kick heroics. If I were Southgate I'd drop one of the pair for Palmer in the semi. Probably Bellingham because relative to Foden he's got greater ego and aggression, and would have more urgency to make an impact as legs tire.
