Yeah with Williams I feel there is no harm trying his release clause and offering some decent wages depending on what we can afford even if he hasn't been showing interest seen plenty of deals still get done when the actual money comes in and it's hard to refuse.
I don't think we lose anything if he isn't coming this season then he's never coming so we don't need to worry about goodwill or anything just testing the resolve with a good offer. He looks like an exceptional player as well so why not now we are not in the project phase but looking to win now.
