Let's pump them and finish the season on a high, get 89 points, more goals and another clean sheet and that is it. I'm proud and happy about the season we had, and I'm a negative prick. We made some mistakes along the way, but all teams can say that...we are better then last year, and that is important. No doubt we move in the summer, 2-3 big player in and we will be even better, I'm pretty confident that we get 90+ next season, and we will also do better in europe and in the cups.
So let's finish strong, be proud of the boys and have a good summer, good Euro, good transfer window and get back at it.
I'm hoping Timber gets some minutes

Been saying it, but if we win this confidently, most neutrals would say we had the moral victory over City. Feels good to be the feel good club.

Burnwinter not wanting to derail this thread but there is a Partey-shaped caveat to that claim.

There are probably other things I could mention but don't think anyone is completely clean when it comes to top level football.

Don Pacifico Fully agree with you there, Don.

Thing is, once Partey is shipped out (fingers crossed), it'll hopefully be the first time in an absolute age that we're not acting corruptly, we're not fielding dickheads, we're not in a banter era, there's minimal dressing room conflict or off field drama, there's only the usual aggro between the club and the fans, and we've got a full deck of talented players who are relatively spotless characters.

Looking forward to it, it's been a long wait.

naz Mbappe is a smart contentious pro. I don't think he'd fall in that dickhead thing at all. He just knows how to get the money he deserves.

Qwiss We don't really know but, uh, I'll give Mbappé the benefit of the doubt if he wants to play here. Wouldn't necessarily read too much into what goes on in the PSG dressing room, the place is a nuthouse.

Looks like TNT will be televising our game this weekend - is this a new thing? Don't remember any games on the last day of the season being televised but maybe it's because we've been irrelevant for so long that I hadn't clocked it! 😄

They always show 3 or 4 games depending on what’s at stake. The title and EL spots is the only thing going.

I'm currently very chilled out about this. I'm not expecting anything, we've done well to get it this far. Its all I asked for after the Villa loss and I think we've shown a real resilience and ability to deal with pressure. Just get this done, give our fans a good day with a few goals and a win and then whatever else happens happens.

GooneriC honestly if we get out of our own way and play the game and not the potential occasion then its an easy game. We are at home to a team who even without the points deduction are bottom half with nothing to play for. Their forms good but this is the same team that lost 6-0 to Chelsea a few weeks ago.

Qwiss pretty similar I'm not going in thinking there is any real possibility we win the league and I think that will be similar within the squad so we won't have some of the pressure that comes from it being directly focused on Arsenal. The world expects it will be City win and when we aren't in the spotlight we tend to be pretty decent at dealing with these moments.

I expect a good feeling in the ground to recognise a good season but no nerves from me because I just have no belief that we are going to be the champions come Sunday evening.
