Tactics we are 2 goals ahead. Goal difference comes into action if they draw a game. Basically that scenario is we win our next two games by one goal each, and they draw and win by 3 goals. Or similar. . Check the odds of your scenario. Sounds slim

USArsenal I fancy Spuds to get a draw against them if they are up for it, however they'll likely throw the match away knowing the kind of club they are. So yeah I agree with you they'll likely win the title on points

I'm beginning to realize that part of the reason they win is they have no rivals. Nobody cares enough to fight them except United. Feels like we have beef with half the league.

Coombs not really. Since months ago it was quite obvious there are no matches in the run in that city could actually realistically drop points. We already know how they are like in the run in from the past decade.

Which is why some of us are saying we need to be absolutely perfect to win the league since Etihad.

Claudius it goes beyond that. That they win doesn't reflect poorly on anyone but a select few. A London derby, for example, is still intense even if there's nothing to play for.

Now we have to hope for a Spurs win vs Burnley in the hope they face City with some pride and confidence.

Clrnc yeah we could seem from when the fixtures were drawn that you didn't really want to be relying on this period for City to drop points. The other question, which I appreciate you can make a case either way, knowing how ruthless city are especially in games against these teams at this time of year we obviously went into the away game to avoid getting beat. Should we have shown a little more ambition and tried to win it to give us some more control for the run in?

I understand the focus on that kind of game is maybe always don't get beat, I guess that just means that outside of those types of big games you can't afford to do what we did unfortunately (Villa, Fulham,West Ham)

Tactics Spuds normally get a draw last time by defending with 10 man and hitting them on the break, under Poch and Conte.

Ange doesnt do this. His high line will be eaten alive by City. Easy 3-0 for them.

Clrnc Well, a weakened Spuds team (Davies and Emerson Royal were their CBs) got a draw at the Etihad in December. Spuds seem to have their number no matter who the manager is. I think we could see a similar high score draw next week provided Levy doesn't whisper something into their ears.

Apart from getting a mini -tan what a waste of time that was lol.

Fulham always will be a nothing club. Stadium is old and busted and atmosphere 6/10 at best. The fact we didn’t beat them really makes me feel ok if we don’t win the title.
