And it's not just the gap in quality, it's the seriousness of approach. There is no way this Arsenal team doesn't arrive at Old Trafford ready for whatever it is United are hoping to throw at us. I didn't see loads of the coverage last night, but I heard Carragher imploring Casemiro, the "great man", to go to the MLS or Saudi at the end of the season. We have two of the best midfielders in the Prem this season going to Old Trafford on Sunday, they should be licking their lips in anticipation for what lies ahead.

Last night I had a dream that City lost 6-1. Fair to say this title race is getting to me.

Our results against United at Old Trafford haven't typically reflected the gaps in quality. Not much else to it.

United will raise their game on Sunday, I have no doubt about that. But it won't be enough. We're in a different league to them.

I think this is the key point. People pointing to the Rashford game forget that was an Arsenal team that accumulated 71 points and finished 5 points ahead of United. For context, we're currently 29 points ahead of United.

The only caveat is they've drawn to Liverpool twice in recent weeks and this is the sort of game that suits them, because there's no onus on them to play a high line or attack, they can just repeatedly spam Bruno and Rashford/Garnacho.

They'll probably be fired up for this and if we give them any encouragement it'll be a difficult afternoon. On the other hand if we get an early goal their heads could drop and the crowd will turn on them so 🤞

Pepe LeFrits Oh mate, we were stitched up last season. Scored a perfectly good goal, it got disallowed and then they picked us off on the counter. All that aside, we are a much better team than we were last season, they are much worse. We're going to beat them and make them suffer well.

Edit: Looks like they lost. Was sure City dropped points to them in that semi tough run of games around March. Then again maybe I'm mixing it up with the Chelsea draw for City.

No, United went one nil up, had chances on the counter but lost 3-1 in the end.

I'm not discounting the chance that United could beat us. Of course they could, our record at Old Trafford is appalling. But we are an exceptional football team and, as covered here, this United team isn't just not good, it's an absolute shambles. Our players will have to have had lobotomies on Sunday for United to have any chance - and even that might not be enough.
