Global Head of Football for Nottingham Voltron Multi-Club, the only sports organisation where if you're the head coach, sometimes Rastapopoulos from Tintin streaks down the touchline to jowl-slap you for your tactical changes.
Poor Edu getting battered pillar to post here. My man just puts out soundbites he expects people wanna hear from him so he can do his three hours a day job and get back to his grill
Klaus Right. He talks and looks like a paid LinkedIn ad.
😂 Exactly my thoughts as I read that quote
Arteta finally gets his Left back!
JazzG I hope he doesn’t spill the beans (wheyyy)
Sicario2 does he get the 57 shirt?
Fucking hell pulling out the dad jokes now are we 😆
Geez now I'm having flashbacks to watching The Goodies. "Get it right!"
I always thought "oh well its probably mostly done on the phone" when Edu was barbecuing but seeing Berta flying here, there and everywhere constantly is starting to make me think maybe there is a lot of value in being more hands on.
Shrug. I watched the documentary the club did about the academy and didn't think Jack came across as particularly impressive as a coach. May be good at building a rapport motivating youngsters though.
Don Pacifico he's our new left 8 signing. Bet he'd kill it tbh.
Don Pacifico he never seemed the sharpest tool either. To be precise after his "you think Spain you think technique but we're English. we tackle hard and are tough on the pitch" comments I thought he's a complete fucking idiot.
Don Pacifico
Yea nobody wants to be a youth coach. If you're good enough you move to a first team.
On FM2024 he becomes a great manager, so I am backing him.
jones did he say that? Explains why he injured his career away then, with those dumb tackles he loved flying into.
Of course he'd leave for a first team role. We would all leave for a better job, with better prospects and more visibility.
TambourineMan yeah exactly. A lot of people saying surely he'd want a bigger job but part of getting someone who could get a bigger job offer is accepting he might move in the middle of the season. Anyway U21s coach is very different from first team coach, its more about getting the best from the players development than getting results.
TambourineMan yeah but isn’t it a bit of a red flag him leaving half way through season and coming back 6 months later? Who is to say he won’t do it again. He is a flight risk so it’s something worth considering if he’s in contention for this role. Loyalty is a two way street.
