Postecoglou's done well and changed their vibe … it'd be convenient if he threw a tantrum, slated the whole squad as incompetent and stormed out before the weekend, of course … but they have players out or in indifferent form, and they aren't at our level. Just gotta hold our nerve here.

He's made them chaotic, we need to avoid that. We need to keep our cool and stay solid. They are far more clinical than Chelsea so we can't give up chances like we did last night. They have a worse defensive record than Everton so the goal will come if we are patient.

The fact that they haven't played for so long may not be an advantage for them. We have a pretty good rest before Sunday and have more sharpness. This game is always a potential banana skin but it's a must win now, no excuses. If we beat them I will start believing again.

Qwiss Against Spuds we can play the same team and style we've just deployed with Chelsea—we don't need to dominate possession, Ange's obsession with attacking football will serve us up the turnovers and the chances in transition and counter-pressing.

Only thing I'd look at is getting Rice, Partey (or Jorginho if he plays) shielding Gabriel and Saliba diligently, they are both slightly leggy and inconsistent at the moment.

Burnwinter I definitely think we need and will see more of a shield. For starters its away and I think Arteta knows Spurs are more of a threat and less wasteful. One of the big decisions in this match for Arteta will be Trossard or Martinelli, with Spurs high line Marty seems like the obvious choice but we've seen Trossard break the lines too and his form is too good not to start.

Qwiss it’s not even a choice. Martinelli has been mediocre since he got that injury ahead of international break. We should see Trossard.

Claudius I agree. Trossards form is too hot to drop him and Martinelli appears to still be recovering. At this moment we need to keep picking the form players. Keep Martinelli and Jesus as late game changers and get Zinchenko to pass the drinks around at half time.

Anyone less nervous/concerned about this game in light of City emphatic win last night?

I don’t know about you guys but it just feels like the pressure is off due to City inevitably of winning the title.

Ironically I do think this will give us a better chance of beating Spurs v if City had dropped points.

Even if we win on Sunday how much can we actually celebrate?
