Clrnc this is the result of of your team tactics being some kind of advanced calculus. its almost like we are embarrassed to just play direct, foot on the gas attacking football. we finally have a strong centerback pairing and solid midfielders, but we give teams an easy out and let them sit in while we play 400 sideways passes per match

Bayern are impressive. They played well.
We lack bite in the final third. We really need to look at left 8 and the forward positions. The way that Musiala and Sane can beat a man and Kane can play point. We needed the same ability.

Claudius yep good assessment - Bayern have top quality so no shame in going out to them but it’s frustrating that we played without adventure and looked void of ideas

Claudius they're really not. they've been picked apart in the bundesliga by teams that actually had a go at them. we helped them massively by how passive we've been in both legs. Porto were better

CL quarters is about par for this team. the wheels coming odd the season entirely is the bigger concern
