Just finished watching the game having avoided the result. Performance had everything. Control, penetration, counter attacks, defensive solidity think all we were missing was a goal from a corner or freekick. Then again through the early Gabriel header, the other two headers from corners (one of which our own player blocked off the line we could easily have had one. All without really looking like we got out of 2nd or 3rd gear.
Only downside was Zinny. Guy was all over the place like he usually is and leaves us with so much space to cover when he drifts all the way to the inside right forward position, not even mentioning the times he lost the ball cheaply or switched off. Looks the most likely person to be oir ultimate downfall if he keeps starting games.
But Gabriel, my man. Guy may just be my favourite player at the club. Only Odegaard comes close.
