Coombs Genuinely phenomenal win. Brighton at home are a good team and we basically suffocated them. Could have been more clinical in the first half but otherwise faultless.

Genuinely one of the best away performances I can recall in years. Probably my favourite since Santi's masterclass and 2-0 win away at City.

That was very good , I expected a cagey nervy game but we did so well to limit their attack. The only thing that made me nervy was Zinchenko's defensive focus. He needs to do much better , a clear weak link at the back

What a great game. We were an absolute delight to watch from start to finish.

Brighton are a very good team, but we are on a completely other level. They didn't have a chance in hell against us and were honestly lucky to only concede 3.

Only concern was his lack of pace but once he cut across you knew it was a goal. Him and Martinelli are deadly in that position.

Just finished reading Blue Moon and they're terrified of our defence. It's not just that we don't concede goals, we don't even concede shots. Raya barely gets tested to even guage how good a goalkeeper he is.

Our defence has become incredible and as much as Gabriel, Saliba and Rice deserve credit for that, the whole team is working tirelessly to make it happen.

There was a moment in the first half when Jorginho and Rice were caught out, only for Jesus to power back and make a crucial tackle in front of the defence. Something similar happened not long after when it was Havertz this time rescuing the midfield when it had once again been surprisingly bypassed.

The team really reminds me of Mourinho's first Chelsea edition, and we've tightened up even further in the new year. I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if we conceded less than 20 goals in the league next season.

Delighted with the result! Brilliant win for us.

Trossard seemed to have extra determination against his former club. I had no doubts he was gonna score when put through.

Shoutout to Havertz for the goal and assist and general chaos he caused all game.

Fave moment has to be Gabriel celebrating his goal saving block with his teammates. Love the passion for defending 😂😂

Rice is our turbo charged Hoover, but Odegaard, Jesus, Havertz, pretty much all of them are amazing at tracking back and winning challenges.

We demoralise midfields and attacks.

Not at our best today. We can play much better than that but it’s a sign that our level is so high now that we take care of Brighton in their own back yard with relative ease
