MistaT to be completely fair to him, he got a nasty injury three weeks into the season. I'm sure he got rushed back, he's had a baby (okay, HE hasn't, but still), got injured again, been ill twice, lost his wingman and he's not really looked right for any length of time this season. I'm not sure of the chronology of all the above, but whichever way round - like the rest of the team - he's had a lot to deal with.

Here's the thing though, anyone who returns to football having missed three months with the kind of ankle injury Odegaard suffered is going to take time to get back to form. Never mind all the other things he's had going on. He's a human being, not a terminator.

RocktheCasbah yes, he’s on £250K per week and plays for one of the biggest clubs in the world. He doesn’t have to be Terminator but he is expected to perform especially when he is the glue that sticks everything together. 1 open play goal since April is shocking for a man of his talents. He can do better and there is no excusing his form over the last 2 months.

Coombs Rice has always been the defacto leader for me since he joined.

RocktheCasbah if both are fit and on form I’d still have Ben White. I get that Timber is probably a better individual, but White brings more to the team. More variation in how he can play the role. More in terms of chemistry with those around him. More personality. I still think Timber needs to show he multiplies those around him in the way White does before I see that position as being his.

Sicario2 agree that one goal over the season isn't really good enough from him, but you can't just discount everything that's happene to him and say no excuses - well, obviously you can, but it just seems like you're one step away from Monty Python's Black Knight, "it's just a flesh wound!"

Ødegaard is not a problem. He's the chief victim of our problems, namely that we're short a star striker and Saka is injured.

Fix those two issues and the player who's statistically creating the most threat from passing in the league would have a big bag of assists to show for it.

lorddulaarsenal just like saka saved us 120-150m, I'm hoping nwaneri saves us the same. and we find a position for him out wide so he and saka can both start
