Don Pacifico he’s an 18 year old kid. He needs to suck it up and bide his time. He will get enough opportunities and will simply have to take them or be the next Reiss Nelson.

Sicario2 I'm with you. Just curious on what was sold to him by the club when he signed his new contract. Think it's unlikely he he gets as many minutes as he did last season.

Wouldn't be surprised if Nwaneri goes on loan this season, either now or in January. Biggest reason he wouldn't want to might be because we have an excellent shot at actually winning something big, and he'd hate to miss it. Longterm I think both him and Arsenal would be better off though. He's nearly ready to explode now. If he gets 30-40 games under his belt he could be a starter for us next season.

That's exactly what I expect. Loan to a team that needs a creative upfront where he's guaranteed minutes, option to recall in January if we deem he's not getting the exposure and experience he needs. Don't mind if it's in Europe/championship at this point. The kid needs games.

It depends if Eze is our LW, Nwaneri will still get plenty of games as Ode’s understudy. This is not 2003. There are 60 games to be played, everyone will get plenty of chances.

It seems to me that if this was the plan, it would have been part of the agreement about the contract renewal and announced at the same time. (Not saying it's a bad idea, not sure about that.)

If we are not going to rotate more then what is the point of having a big squad, he should get plenty of minutes, he is ready to contribute and could have a breakout season... Don't remember many loans deals that have been rally useful.

i'd be trying to become a striker if i was him. don't waste that ball striking ability. all the money is in being a #9, not a #8.

Meatwad that super tight control would make him a nightmare in the box, question is can he do all the other admin tasks that come with a striker... Maybe in a couple of years.

He'll do well to learn a thing or two from Eze, but he's still a ridiculous talent himself.

I think it will be good for his development that he isn't in a position where he's one Odegaard injury away from having to be the main creative force in a title challenging team.

Absolutely. Nwaneri's got bags of talent but he barely made an impact in the U21s Euros. He's got a while to go before he's someone that features week in, week ou for a title challenging teamt. Eze doesn't block his route to the first team.
