Nwaneri is 18. The logic has to be that he's got the physique and the technical level to play as a creative 8 at a club like Arsenal in time. The tactical development and awareness are expected to follow, and as we've seen before these are very difficult for prodigies to learn at the lower levels. Dowman will be on the same curve.
On the evidence Skelly is a different talent. He's got better (though still deficient) tactical sense, is more physically powerful and is already about the level of an Arsenal starter. But he's also behind Nwaneri on technique and ball striking. Nwaneri scored several elite goals on that left foot last season.
Saka was a year older than Nwaneri when he was moved up from left back. Now if we can get just one of Nwaneri or Dowman to truly kick on as an attacking midfielder, it'll be a brilliant thing.
