goon The CL is one giant mind game, you could have a 2 or 3 goal lead going into a second leg and completely freeze / overcomplicate it. Would rather have the home game in the second leg.
Arteta's better at conveying pressure to build a lead to protect than he is at masterminding patient victories. I reckon we may do a bit better if his first task is to come up with a plan for us to score a couple of goals ... as @Clrnc was saying actually.
If we do go on the road to Bayern or one of these other megaclubs after finishing a goal or two down at home, we'll be written off by all.
Wonder if our much improved nerve will hold in the case of setbacks. European aways throw up patently absurd refereeing decisions.
