I also think we have to learn from this. Take a well deserved break, and then the focus has to be to review this game, and see what we could have done much better. How we can be more patient in situations like this, and figure out the best way to hurt teams that set up this way in Europe. So the likes of Saliba and Gabriel won't feel the need to hoof the ball long to bypass the midfield, or do this very selectively and with better accuracy.
Also Ben White and Kiwior were neutralized or not used effectively as outlets under lapping or overlapping. I thought that was a miss on our part.
There's lots to work on, and both players and manager have lots of room for improvement.
Great to get through and be able to look back at the game after winning rather than the opposite. Lessons should be easier to learn.
