Havertz in the middle and Trossard as a striker for this one. Or the other way around, or they can switch like they want. Jorginho needs to be fresh vs Porto, he will be very important in that game. Trossard will score. We drew at home against them last season now they have the gambler in who will love to prove a point, so take this serious. Must win
Brentford has conceded the most goals in the first half (even more than SHU before they played us).
Lets finish them by HT and rest players for Porto
if we win on saturday and pool/citeh draw on sunday, we control our own fate, for the most part. we'd still have to be mindful of goal difference, but we'd have a +7/8 at least margin, with 10 games left in the season.
All I want is for this game is to be as easy as it should be, the Bees are on their knees for the first time since they came up and we are watching possibly the best Arsenal team of my lifetime. Kill them, kill them all.
Will be a tougher game, they'll try to bypass midfield and hit long to Toney and feed off him since he's very good at holding up .
GooneriC their Raya replacement is not quite as adept at this particular aspect. Not saying he can't do it, but Raya was unbelievably good at hitting Toney at the Emirates last year.
RocktheCasbah the Raya-Toney combo was a problem for us. I’m interested to see Saliba - Toney. Although this edition of Brentford is budget versus last season
RocktheCasbah He's a terrible keeper. One of the worst in this division
Butter hands
Clrnc so I gather, though my Bees mates have mentioned (relative) recent improvement.
Zinny back with the squad.
No Martinelli.

I'd go with Trossard and Havertz up top, with Jesus replacing Martinelli.
Are we resting Jorginho for Porto?
Claudius I would
Trap Game.
Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert fast start solves that , hopefully
Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert Arteta realizes it and went full team again. Good.
It's not a trap for me but it's a game you have to win and be able to deal with that expectation. You don't get many weekends where you can be sure you're rivals will drop points, if your serious about winning stuff you have to deliver in those moments. Another one of those hurdles we have this season get a result and go into the city game with a better chance of controlling our own outcome or slip up before we even get there. If we're truly in that upward trajectory then there is no question about how it will go today.
Trossard replaces Martinelli.. THat's the only change other than Ramsdale.
Bench looking strong AF again.
Really hope it's not serious for Martinelli. He's a key difference maker for the games coming up
