jorgi is great at the momebt, but dont forget he's also playing for his final contract, whether here or somewhere else. I'm always wary about doubling down on older guys going into their last year who are playing out of their skin.
what its really driven home is that rice is now playing where he should be - as a roving 6.5/8 next to a pass master pivot (zubimendi looks like jorgi junior tbh). he's a demon at leading the press. his timing and anticipation is excellent. he has the awareness to slot in as a double pivot, or drive forward as the game requires. Give more time to grow in the role and he'll contribute more going forward as well.
