I would rather have more healthy good players than fewer
the fact that we have had to change 3 to 4 players’ roles to accommodate Kiwior post Zincheko is evidence of just how tough his role is. He’s doing some of our most complex work. Slot him back into this team, I think we cook even more
I agree on point 1. On point 2, his role is seemingly too hard for him the way he keeps giving the ball away by trying to do too much, and on us the way we keep giving him the ball every time. Not to mention how he continuously vacates space and at times is found drifitng on the right wing. I know for certain Gabriel appreciates having Kiwior near him rather than Zinchenko who leaves him to do the work for 2 people.
Allowing our midfielders to take the responsibility of our buildup play and leaving the defenders to support and cover space is working much better for us, especially now that we've stopped this experiement with Kiwior tucking in. White plays the Zinchenko role to perfection, coming inside to support whilst still being near enough to both Saka and Salaba ensuring we have numbers in both directions.
