IBL I think we have already started taking teams hearts out. That’s what we did to west ham, and to Burnley. Both games have followed similar patterns where they want to match us or beat us with physicality, and then realize they can’t. And they get zero change out of our defence, whilst having to exert so much energy and focus to withstand the pressure we are putting on them upfront with the movement and intelligence and aggressiveness of our front line, and knowing that they can’t give us too many set pieces or we will hurt them that way too.
That’s a lot for any team to deal with mentally. And when we score early like we did yesterday and maintain the pressure, you can tell it’s only a matter of time before the flood gates open.
I want to see how it translates in Europe. Looking forward to Porto game.
