Saka's faster.
I feel like every time Jesus gets the ball, the last thing on his mind is to shoot. Always looking to take a few touches or move with the ball, or pass it. Sometimes you need to just fucking shoot
So slow and sideways with our play
jesus is the only player that does things out of structure and creates overloads. everyone else is too bland
Our play seems so cautious and cowardly
Sterile posession
To be fair, think Forest look really well organised and drilled. Whether they have the stamina to keep this up for the full ninety is another matter.
We get so much space in the box, even as packed as it is but we just can't make it count.
Qwiss most touches in the opposition box of any team in the league, mind. we ring-fence teams better than anyone, but that's as far as it goes. if this how we're going to play, just get an aerially dominant striker in and keep pumping crosses in
Nearly
Can't watch the match but from the outside a bit worrying that we don't seem to have solved that attacking dilemma and how we can improve our attack
We lack passing and creative abilities. Sadly not something you can address tactically.
Smith Rowe is also too attacking like Havertz.
daredevil we have loads of creative players.
Smith Rowe is way more involved than Havertz too. Has 26 completed passes in that half. Havertz managed 28 for the whole game vs Brighton which was also a dominant performance.

I don't think we do. We don't have anyone in the team who is even one of the best creative passers in the league, let alone Europe. Our most creative player is Saka and he creates through crossing. We have no-one who can consistently create chances from midfield. Odegaard has 16 total assists over 4 seasons. That's less than Ozil or Fabregas in a single season.
Good half. We need to find a way to draw them out. We are making life hard for ourselves by having so much territory.
Claudius feels like we're trying to draw them out but it's not really working. Wonder if we just need to let them have more of the ball in order to draw them out?
Claudius you draw teams out by creating overloads, but we don't create overloads anywhere on the pitch. jesus does it every now and then, but he lacks follow through. everyone else is locked into their positions to priotise the counter-press over spontaneity
We need the most elite of elite technicians up top if we're to succeed with the way we play.
I think Martinelli needs upgrading on.
Don Pacifico yeah it's all well and good setting the team up to have control but if we can't create the space we need maybe we need to let some of that control go, certainly in games we expect to be more dominant
It's a travesty that Saka has to be so wide. Get him in those Salah zones so he can shoot early much closer to the area FFS.
Gazza M I'm not sure how effective that is when your opposition are sitting deep and not pressing.
