I'm wary of speaking for someone who can very clearly speak for himself, but I don't think he is agreeing with that statement Quincy.

Claudius There are small margins keeping us from the top of the table, not a massive, insurmountable mountain. So why all the angst? It feels very disproportionate to the reality

I think we need to get over this idea that we need to sign a CF, because the odds of bagging someone that's actually title winning good is so low. You can count the number of world class strikers on a couple fingers.

They're the most objective prediction you can find, so it's weird to act like people who share that sentiment are the overly negative ones rather than those who don't being overly positive.

Might have missed it but why were they booing Saka? Was there something from a previous game I've forgotten or just that incident where he went down and the ref stopped played (I thought the booing was happening from before that though)? Thought it was weird booing a current England starter.

invisibleman18 every opponent boos Saka because he inevitably falls after his 10th kick in the shin. If you read online he has a reputation as a diver even though his foul data doesn’t add up to this.

Claudius the idea that Saka is a diver is insane. He gets the shit kicked out of him and wins fuck all. He is the opposite of a diver, in fact he needs to get smarter and win more frees and pens for his own good.

Claudius there are divers in our team but they are rarely the ones targetted. Jesus for instance is pretty bad at it but it never really gets much traction. Probably because he's so bad he rarely get the penalty.

Qwiss I think part of it is who you piss off. Saka gets kicked into the air everyday and nobody notices. But he had the Liverpool incidents, and Liverpool fans are particularly vile annd profilic online.

I’ll never forget how they shut down the biggest football podcast in the USA because the host suggested the fans played a part in Hillsborough. They threatened everyone associated with the pod with death

In general they are one of the worst fan bases. They whinge constantly and every time they see a decision missed in any other match its all "what about the time it happened to insert Liverpool player and he got sent off". No mention of course when they get all the decisions their way, like they did last night. In fact since the Spurs game they've been getting almost everything called for them.
